1,200 backpacks and school supplies were handed out, including notebooks, pencil cases, pens, crayons, folders, and markers. There was also a raffle, music, and hot food was distributed to each attendee. The event was held at Caribe Restaurant in Hialeah.

The owner of Caribe Restaurant, Mr. Juan Alvarado, was the organizer and sponsor of the event and this great humanitarian gesture. His team and volunteers were there early to prepare for this event, which was a huge success.

We would also like to thank Hialeah Mayor Jacqueline García-Roves and the Hialeah Police Department for their support and professionalism.
Ambassador Luis Suárez, for his record of social assistance, was invited to support this significant event, which provided supplies to several families. He certainly accepted and was there early.

Suárez was pleased and thanked Dr. Juan Alvarado for having also received his Doctor of Honor and Cause degree from the Academic Council of the Technological University Institute of the State of Mexico (ITUEM) on that day, presented by Dr. Luis Suárez Hernández PhD on behalf of the Official International College of Doctors.
